Meet Master Angler & Minnesota Native, Colin MacRae

As a kid, I went fishing every chance I got.
I grew up in Minneapolis, fishing all the city lakes and Mississippi river until I knew them like the back of my hand.
I bought my first boat when I was 19 and made it my mission to explore as many lakes as possible in our beautiful state of Minnesota.
I am blessed to have 4 daughters that grew up fishing with me, and still love it to this day. In addition, I am also extremely fortunate to have my wife as my fishing partner (and greatest catch).
We have been on many fishing trips together, from catching trout on Lake Superior, to mahi mahi in Maui - No matter how far we've traveled, our favorite place is on Lake of the Woods, MN.
Now, we are fortunate enough to own a beautiful 5 acre plot within the deep northern forests surrounding Lake of the Woods. Our Northern Cave and Cabin Lodge is spacious enough to host our entire family of 18 with ease & we've already created so many memories.
For over a decade, I have learned from the best guides on the Lake - Now, I am setting out on a venture of my own, eager to share my expertise with other "Up North" enthusiasts. I'm excited to share my passion for fishing by guiding others on their own legendary adventures: from families and people of all ages, to beginners and up to well seasoned anglers.
